Gentlemen:-

We have been caused no little embarrassment

through the fact that our name has not been

included in the list published in the London

Gazette of firms to whom exports can be made in

China. This whole matter is due to an oversight

somewhere and we would ask you to aid ns to the

extent of placing in the hands of the proper

officials the enclosed affidavit which speaks

for itself and which is sworn to before a Notary

Public by the Treasurer of our Corporation.

We would appreciate anything that you can do

for us that will have our name placed on the list

without any more delay than is absolutely necessary

und would thank you to cable us as soon as the

affidavit has been deposited advising us in your

cablegram the outcome, charging us back with the

cable expense.
